Old Growth Forest Tours – Doc Kudish Natural Forest – Big Tree Fest

Take a guided tour through the incredible Old Growth Forest located on the Paul Smith’s College lands that was recently dedicated to and named after long time professor Michael “Doc” Kudish. The Doc Kudish Natural Forest is a 76-acre stand of hemlock-northern hardwood which includes some 30- to 40-inch diameter hemlock, yellow birch, and sugar maple, and all the structural indicators of old-growth forest.
