Loon Watching Paddle on St. Regis River

Join this guided Loon Paddle on the St. Regis River! What a great destination for watching the behavior of loon families. Our guide, Denise Silfee, will lead us on a slow-paced educational paddle to observe these beautiful symbols of Adirondack wilderness. Denise is the Education Director at the Adirondack Center for Loon Conservation. The center’s research has focused on using Adirondack loons as a sentinel species to better understand the impact of environmental contaminants on aquatic ecosystems.
You must preregister by Tuesday, August 13 at 12pm.
Paddling equipment is not provided.

Please plan to bring your own boating equipment. Contact the Loon Center directly about the availability of any equipment rentals.
