Introduction to Bats

Join Oto Tomaszewski on a walk down the Heron Marsh Trail to watch for bats of the Adirondacks! This program will feature a short indoor introduction to our local bats, followed by a walk to the floating bridge over the Heron Marsh where visitors will watch as bats feed on various insects.

Participants should come prepared with a headlamp or flashlight if they can, and wear insect repellent if they prefer.

Program lasts 1.5-2 hours, depending on bat activity.
