Adirondack’s Resilient Species – A Nature Walk with Rich Hanlon
May 6 @ 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM
$15
Do you think you have what it takes to survive in the Adirondack Mountains? High elevation, frigid winters, a short growing season, and thin nutrient-poor soil make this one of the most adverse environments in the eastern United States. Walk the trails with Nature Guide Rich Hanlon to observe Adirondack wildlife and hear stories about the creativity, collaboration, and industrious spirit employed by the plants and animals who are at home in the mountains. Rich is a NYS licensed guide, environmental educator, interpretive naturalist, writer, and owner of the Adirondack guide service called Wild Neighbors Nature Connection LLC. He lives in Duane, NY.
