Butterfly House Field Cleanup

In conjunction with our Leave No Trace Spotlight event, Friday through Sunday, October 27-29, we are coordinating a Stewardship Project. Please help us with our plant “renovations” that are making our habitat even more appealing to native species of butterflies, moths, bees and other beneficial insects. Bring a good pair of work gloves, sturdy boots, plenty of water and your best cheerful attitude. We will be weeding, doing a little earth moving/digging and planting native plants. All are welcome but there is a size limit to the number of volunteers for this project–sign up early! Cleanup will run from 9am ~ 12:30pm, Saturday, October 28, 2023.
Also: Pack a brown bag lunch to enjoy with other volunteers after a morning of hard work and then stay on to hear what promises to be an excellent presentation by the national Leave No Trace Spotlight professional team, 2-3pm!
