Birding for Beginners program will introduce visitors to the broad groups of birds that can be found in this region, and allow them to become comfortable with their materials before leaving for the trails. Activities are aimed towards children or families, but can be enjoyed by all ages. Participants will apply lessons learned during the first half of the program on the trail for the second half of the program! By the end of the program, visitors will be able to identify common species and will be familiar with the tools needed to further their skills.
This program is free and will run every Sunday beginning June 22nd, 2025 through July! Pre-registration is encouraged!
